deformation

I created 5 sections along the DispBeamColumn element with inelastic fiber sections (i.e., recorder Element -file ele1sec1Defo.out –time -ele 1 section 1 deformation). for each section, I have got different deformation responses. How can I choose just one value as a  deformation of the element?

OpenSees and thus OpenSees Navigator can only record all section deformations (or all section forces) at once. So for an inelastic fiber section you will get axial strain and one or two curvature values depending on the dimensionality of your model.
