    Hello!
    i created a model with great numbers of nodes & element that the Opensees navigator unable to open. may you tell me how many nodes or elements are allowed in the software?
    i want to be able to modify my model in Opensees navigator.

    You don’t open just any OpenSees model in Navigator. Generally it has to be created in Navigator or converted from SAP2000. This is because Navigator is not reading your TCL file, but reading a proprietary MATLAB file and writing tcl files from the contained MATLAB matrices.

    TCL importing capabilities are very limited because a model can be built programmatically in TCL and it is difficult to import such an input file. If the model geometry in the TCL file is defined line-by-line without the use of variables (no program constructs such as for-loops, while-loops, etc.) then OSN should be able to import at least the geometry of your model
