I’m trying to simulate tunnel lining behavior in OpenSees.
I just wonder if it is able to calculate internal forces/stresses (shear, axial, bending) and resultant strains/deformations for the following cases:
– straight beams/slabs
– curved beams/slabs (of various dimensions and curvatures)
– jointed slabs (straight or curved)
– full rings (with or without joints)
all of these subject to different external point or distributed loading. Also, does it enable to do a beam spring analysis of full ring (i.e., bedded beam)?
